ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Oct. 5) BUSINESS WIRE -Oct. 5, 1994--QuadMark Ltd., a Xerox
company, Wednesday announced it has named Martin L. Strayer as interim
president and CEO following the unexpected resignation of J. Michael Pocock
Sept. 29.
Pocock will be joining Digital Equipment Corp, based in Acton, Mass., as vice
president, sales for its personal computer business unit.
Strayer, vice president, sales of QuadMark, is a 27-year veteran of the
consumer electronics and products market and has extensive experience in
marketing, sales, finance and general management.
Prior to joining QuadMark, Strayer was vice president of channel marketing
for
NEC Technologies, vice president of field operations for ComputerLand Corp.,
and general manager and vice president for the computer and consumer products
divisions of Epson America.
"Marty Strayer has extensive experience in the skills needed to lead QuadMark
successfully in this interim period. He shares QuadMark's vision of
dominating the consumer-priced portable copier market and expanding our
expertise in consumer-electronics-related products," said Robert V. Adams,

No, we are not based in Acton (yet), but the PC business is based
there. I know.... since we were all asked to leave so that Enrico
could have the building at AKO1.

Vincenzo Damiani (VP) is Senior VP and General Manager of the ABU and
was (still is?) President, Digital Europe.
I'm sure that if there were VP announcements made by him they are
likely to be in the ABU dimension rather than the geography dimension.
