   Hi,
    
      I was aked about availability and source for "VAX development 
  emulation software". The software should emulate 
   (i) the VAX 6400 development environment on a PC/PC-LAN/UNIX, and 
  (ii) Rdb, Decforms, and VAX Cobol.
     Please note that I am not referring to a VTxxx terminal emulator.

    If there is no such product, is there a VAX Cobol Emulator on a 
   PC/PC-LAN/UNIX environment ?

    Since this may not be the right place for this query, could someone 
  please direct me to the right notesfile. I have tried the "calypso"
  notesfile but there has been no response.

	The Notesfiles are all listed and indexed on VTX -- sorry I can't remember what keyword it is, so you'll have to work through the main menu. The Easynet Notes conference is: TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES and the VAX Cobol conference is in Note 2523 good luck

	It used to be VTX EASYNOTES but no more. Unless the keyword has been changed it is not on VTX. I got the following: Corporate Videotex Library The infobase you are trying to access has been removed from the Corporate Videotex Library. To return to the previous menu, use BACKUP To exit VTX, use EXIT Press HELP for options.
