    Actually I've been told that, Digital myth to the contrary, MLP stands
    for manufacturers list price. I would assume we still publish a price
    book somewhere. I believe that it's also in VTX PRICE (for a limited
    time - see elsewhere in this conference) You could also call a sales
    office I suppose.

2674.3MLP = US CLP - US UpliftSMAUG::GARRODFrom VMS -> NT, Unix a future page from historyTue Sep 21 1993 02:339
    Re .-1

    VTX PRICE contains US Country List Price ie CLP (Country List price)
    for the USA. CLP = MLP + US Country Uplift.

    Rumour has it that after October 4th MLP will equal US CLP but I'm not
    sure on that one, ie no US Country Uplift.

MLP is the price set by Product management. Each country may, or may not modify
this price when setting a published list price for their country.

MLP can be found in the Digital Price file, commonly known as DSPS
here in the US.

    MLP is the price that keeps us uncompetitive with other multivendor
    organizations.
