2401.0. "Looking for information about Digital sponsored summer day camp" by WHYNOW::NEWMAN (Alpha Personal Systems Marketing) Wed Mar 03 1993 18:42

This is posted in both the ASKENET and DIGITAL notes conferences...

I am looking for information regarding a summer day camp that I belive Digital
runs in the "Greater Maynard Area". I believe it is a computer-related camp
for elementary school-aged children.

If anyone can provide me with any information about it or whom to contact I
would appreciate it.

Thanks

Bob Newman

My son went there last year, and I was something less than fully
satisfied with the experience. Feel free to contact me off-line E-MAIL
    or phone.

My children enjoyed it too. It is a day camp for a couple of weeks at
Northboro, MA (about 2 to 3 miles from Marlboro), and is conducted by
a private organization under Digital sponsorship.

The details are normally announced via VTX in late Spring every year.
The camp is during the Summer vacation time.

I saw a flyer on this posted outside our PSA's office. It looks like a lot of
fun; in fact, I'm wondering how I can go to it myself... 8^) Guess I'll have to
wait 5 more years for my son to be old enough.

A variety of activities that look educational and entertaining. Build a CO2 race
car and wind-tunnel test it? Cool!

Hi,

I realize that the base note is a little old, but could anyone tell me if this
program still exists, and where I could get info on it?

Thanks.
