1119.0. "Looking for Digital ORG chart." by SFCPMO::GREENE (CASE: No pain, no gain! ) Sat Jun 09 1990 15:37

    I'm looking for a _current_ Digital ORG chart at the

    		* corporate level
    		* area level  - SCA

    I can't seem to find one anywhere. I had 3 secretaries try to find
    one, with no luck. They called the District and Area Manager's
    secretaries--and they didn't have one.

    Can somebody either post a current org chart here, or provide a
    pointer?  Thanks in advance.

    If they tried to federal express one to you, by the time it got there,
    it would be unrecognizeable from the changes that had already
    occurred!

    hahahahahahahaha....Welcome to Digital.

    If you go into VT X, look under US Policies and Procedures, then look
    under Organizational charts, there is one on-line (I *just* looked - it
    *is* there)...

    Not one for SCA that I could find, but one from Ken Olsen and on
    down...

    Part of your problem is that there is no SCA anymore. We are part of
    the Central Region.

re: -.1

You sure about that name? There's no more 'Central', it's now North
Central States Region.... old Central Area + old East Central Area + ???

Com'on fella... what did you do? Take a vacation day? Can't do that or
you miss out on the latest org/name change.

    Is this the one in Section 1.0 of the Orange book on VTX, Gale? The one
   I find there (on VTX) is dated last August and still shows Shields as the
   VP of Sales.
    A much more complete (but no more current) breakdown of the corporate
   Org can be found in the 89-90 Edition of the Internal Guide to Digital
   Organizations (EL-ENGRS-OM-0 Rev J is on my copy).

1119.6According to my understanding of the new geographies, ...SEDGPX::COLEA CPU cycle is a terrible thing to wasteMon Jun 11 1990 14:3627
	... and with no shread of paper in front of me to jog my memory, the
old "Areas" became the new "Regions" as follows:

		Northeast, NY/NJ Areas ---> Northest Region

		Mid-Atlantic, Southern Areas --->  Mid-Atlantic/Southern States
						   Region

		Central, East Central, South
		Central Areas		     --->  Central Region

		Western, Southwestern Areas ---> Western Region

and I think ALL of Pennsylvania is part of MA/SS Region, whereas it was split
between East Central and MAA before.

	And FWIW, the EIS managers are currently:

			MA/SS	- Lynn Busing

			NE	- Jon Caputo

			Central	- Charles Payne

			Western	- Gerry Bryant

	Hope this helps!

    Ref .6 Penna is still split between southern, and central, at least
    this week.
1119.10It depends...MAIL::MCGUIREMike `Hiram' McGuire, St. LouisTue Jun 12 1990 12:396
    I believe that it may differ depending on organization. Field Ser--,
    er, Customer Services, has a North Central States Region consisting of
    the old Central Area and the old East Central Area. Sales/Software may
    not be the same.
