290.0. "Wrong phone numbers for Secure Systems" by ULTRA::PRIBORSKY (Tony Priborsky) Wed Mar 25 1987 12:16

This is posted to explain some anomolies in the March 1987 phone
book. Our group was to move to Boxboro from LTN2. This apparently
won't happen. Anyway, the telephone book has wrong numbers for
all Secure Systems people. I don't know if any other groups are
    affected.

Hi Steve,
As I think I mentioned to Bruce, due to the fact that your group is not
now moving to Boxborough, the telephone book which is either out already or
coming out momentarily will list the wrong extensions for your people as the
new extensions were listed - Please let your people know that this has
happened - We are sending a list of the people and their correct extensions
to Corp. Telecomm so that people calling in can get the correct numbers for
your people from Corporate. In addition, we will be publishing an updated
telephone directory internally and will have extra copies made so your people
may mail them to frequent callers. Please make sure everyone is aware of
what has happened and that we are trying our best to recover as much as is
possible. The telephone numbers from Boxborough that were assigned to your
people will not be given to the new set of tenants and we will handle calls
coming to that number either by having it go directly to the switchboard or
to place it on a recording - I think my preference is for them going to the
switchboard to avoid people being sent too many places for a number.

Again, I apologize for the major inconvenience this has/will cause and we
will do all we can to make this as trouble free as is possible. Thank you.

              -Heather
