Not the normal sort either - nothing to do with tu81s or whatever.

If a call that is not fully resolved is closed the tape could be kept for 
a while in case the problem recurs. If it does we can put the tape up and dial
in, compare etc. 

Very handy for those one-off corruption problems that cann't be easily fixed in
one crash. Often we say to the customer to close as a one-off let us know if
it happens again, but when they do the original dump is not available.

What do you think, should we create a library for cached tapes. What do we have 
to do to the iso9000 procedures.

If so, what is the best way to work out that there is a cached tape if the call
comes back, exception condition, would kens program help.
