There has been some confusion. This is how it is at present - It may change at any time - o System crash problem on VMS 5.0 through 5.1-1. (The well-known 2D3C problem) . Fixed in 5.2 For systems running prior to 5.1-1 then send the patch - TUDRIVER$PATCH01_500 (note #47 in VMS_PATCHES notesfile) o System hang problem on VMS 5.1-1. Send patch - TUDRIVER$PATCH01_511 (note 104 in VMS_PATCHES notesfile). Note.. This kit also contains the fix for the system crash problem detailed above. For systems running VMS prior to 5.1-1 that see this hang problem then they MUST be upgraded. There is NO patch available yet to fix the hang problem prior to 5.1-1. WE have been told that this 511 image will NOT work on 5.1 or earlier systems. It can only work on 5.1-1. o System hang problem on VMS 5.2.
