| A variation on a theme:
One of my customers has 6 RZ26s (1GB) striped into a 6GB volume. (They're also
mirrored, but I think that's irrelevant for this question.) They want to replace
one of the RZ26s with an RZ29 (4GB) and restripe them all for a total of a 9GB
volume.
Will LSM do this uneven stripe, or will 3GB of the RZ29 be wasted? From .1, I
suppose the answer is that striping can only be done in equal parts, and the
extra 3GB on the RZ29 is going to have to be included some other way, like
concatentating it to the stripe set, or using AdvFS utilities, or something.
Yes?
