3838.0. "Support for Muxserver 380 and 100's??" by MEOC02::FINCH () Wed Sep 30 1992 22:51

    Hi,

    I have found that the TSAM doesn't seem to support MUXserver 380's.
    Is this true ? and if so can you tell me when support for the 380 will
    be included ?

    Also there is a problem with support for the MUXserver 100 (see note
    3580). Has anything been done about this??

    Unfortunately I have a customer with a lot of 100s and now at the new
    end of the spectrum a 380, both of which DECmcc cannot manage.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Jill

I've been working on a patch kit which will clear up the MUXserver 100
problems. Unfortunately the MUXserver 380 was not supported for the V1.0
release of TSAM. I think Laurel BLUMON::Nelson is the product manager for TSAM,
you should let her know MUX 380 (and 320) support is required in the next
version of TSAM.

I'll announce the patch kit shortly in this notesfile.

3838.2MUXserver 380 management yet??HLRG02::NOTESOpel MantaTue May 10 1994 18:0911
    Hi ,

    We have a big customer who want's to buy DECmcc (PNM400), but he also
    wants to manage his MUXserver 380's with DECmcc.

    Is this already possible?
    If not is there any visibility when it will become possible.

    Regards,

    /-/		Henk.

If my memory serves me correctly, I tried and failed to register
a MuxServer 380......

I resorted to registering it as a station.....( not much use really)
