Hello, We just have installed DECmcc-BMS V1.2 & DECmcc-TK V1.2 from the savesets located in TENERE::EMA$PUBLIC:[KIT_V12] (see note 3.175), dated July 2nd '92. We are running VAX VMS V5.5-1 and VAXC V3.2-044. Despite there is no evidence in the DECmcc documentation (Installation guide/ Release notes) that any patch is applied during the DECmcc-BMS V1.2 installation, we have noticed that the latter patches the VAXC run time library, using the patching command procedure VMS055_VAXCRTL_PATCH.COM (located in saveset B). QUESTIONS: --------- 1) What is the reason of this undocumented (?) patch installation ? 2) Taking into account the software environmnent explained above, would DECmcc V1.2 work without that patch ? 3) Is it an official patch (we have indeed experiment some issue with callable DECScheduler after this patch installation) ?
