| I don't think that can be done. (It has crossed my mind as something which
would be exactly what I would want to do if I were managing DECmux boxes,
so I can see your frustration.)
I just talked to some of the DECmcc developers who know more about this than
I, and as it turns out there may be a way for TSAM to provide this capability
in a future release. TSAM would need to allow the create and/or register
directives for all of its child entities, so that so-called 'stretchy'
icons (like language) would be provided for all of the TSAM child entities.
Right now TSAM only supports the create directive for child entities which
needed it. Based on my new understanding of how DECmcc figures out whether
a sub-entity would ever have its own icon, I can see I need to widen the criteria
for which sub-entites need the create directive.

Hi Dave,
The easiest thing to do to "fix" this problem would be to add the
*REGISTER* directive, to the TSAM MS (actually the Dictionary), for
all of your child entities.
You wouldn't even have to add code to your AM, since the Registration FM
handles the details automatically.
Should be a quick fix (maybe issue a patch?).
