The first in a series of seminars on DECmcc will take place on August 5th in the
Harbor Conference Room in LKG2-1 near pole Q7.  The session runs from 1 PM to 
5 PM.  All of the seminars will be given by developers of the software and are 
open to all.  This first session will cover two topics:

	DECmcc Archi2tectureal Overview  	Colin Strutt  	1-3
	DECmcc Usage 				Ray Paquet	3-5

Other seminars are scheduled for:

		August 12th	1-5
		August 24th	1-5
		August 28th	1-5
		
		September 2nd	1-5
		September 3rd	1-5

The seminars are all scheduled for the Harbor CR.  Further announcements will be 
entered as replies to this note.

    There is no need to register for these seminars, presently.  If the
    number of attendees begins to exceed the room capacity, I may have to

    As each seminar takes place, slides for that seminar will be placed in
    the following area.

    Each file will begin with DECMCC to help you select those files that
    are of interest to you.
    
    We hope that we will be able to video tape the remaining sessions.  I
    will let you know if we are successful, and if we are, how to get

    Oops - the original message was not clear enough.
    This is not a set of repeats of the same seminars - this is a series of
    different seminars, running on each of the dates listed. You are free
    to attend any or all of them, but they'll each cover different topics.

    August 24th in the Harbor CR, LKG2-1, Pole Q7.  All future seminars
    will be held in this conference room.  The topics and presenters are as

    and Seminar 7 will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd.  Both will be

    Unfortunately, I have to cancel the seminar for Wednesday, September
    23.  The material was to be presented by BBN and they have had some
    problems scheduling the presenters and sent me a note asking to cancel. 
    I will be getting in touch with them to set it up for another day.  As
    soon as I have a firm date, I will post it in this note.

    The seminar for BBN's presentations has been rescheduled for Tuesday,
    November 3rd, from 1-5 pm in the Harbor Conference Room in LKG2-1, Pole Q7.
    
    This will be the last seminar of the series.  If you are interested in
    any topics that were not covered, please send me a note with the topic,
    and I will attempt to get that topic covered in a future series.  I

Hi,

The tapes for the DECmcc seminars are now available except for the BBN
presentations.  Those tapes are being duplicated, and should be available in
another week.  I will send out a note when they are ready.

There are two sets of the tapes available for borrowing.  If you would like to
borrow any of the tapes, please contact Marijane Beaudet at DTN 226-5380, or
Barbara Chrul at DTN 226-7465, or send them mail at TOOK::BEAUDET, or
TOOK::CHRUL. Please make every effort to return the tapes on time.  They should
not be kept any longer than two weeks.

Also, all of the slide presentations are available on TOOK, including the BBN
slides.  They can be gotten from TOOK::USER$219:[BEAUDET.PUBLIC].  If you have
any problem accessing them, please contact me at DTN 297-5906.
