3414.0. "Accvio with Autoconfiguration" by BALZAC::PETIT (Bruno Petit/Evry-FRANCE) Thu Jul 23 1992 07:57

Yesterday I installed BMS V1.2 on a VMS 5.5 system and begun to use DECmcc; I
had some messages (I didn't see them immediatly):

I run an AUTOCONF (Phase IV) , It started fine, and later on I cancelled it.
When I tried to run a new AutoConf I got a TRM-FAILURE , just when DECmcc
is "Checking the namespace. This will take a moment. Please wait..."

This morning I started again DECmcc, tried to run an AUTOCONF and got an
AccVio.

3414.1Not strictly an Autoconfig problem... Run MCC_AUDIT.COMTOOK::FIGWERUlla Figwer LKG2-2/T2 x226-7858Thu Jul 23 1992 13:3622
	Hello Bruno,

	It seems like all your problems are linked to insufficient
	dynamic memory. Have you run MCC_COMMON:MCC_AUDIT.COM to
	check your account quotas and system parameters to insure
    	that they meet the requirements of DECmcc?

	The error you got while running Autoconfiguration happened
	while Autoconfiguration asked DECmcc to execute the
	command "SHOW MCC 0" or "SHOW MCC 0 ALL CHAR". Again,
	this problem seems to be a more general one, not
	something specific to Autoconfiguration.

	Execute MCC_COMMON:MCC_AUDIT.COM while logged into the
	account from which you ran your tests and let us
	know the results.

	Thanks,

	Ulla Figwer

Thanks for your advise. I've run the procedure and some of SYSGEN
parameters were too low.

I'm going to adjust them and if I still have the problem, I will post a new reply.

Bruno.
