WE JUST HAD A CUSTOMER WITH A LARGE MULTI VENDOR NETWORK CALL TRYING
TO VERIFY WHAT THIRD PARTY VENDORS HAVE WRITTEN MODULES FOR DECMCC.
THE COMPANY THAT SELLS 'NETWORK PROFESSOR' TOLD HIM THAT THEY HAD
WRITTEN ONE AND HE WANTED TO VERIFY THAT, ALSO. CAN ANYONE POINT ME
IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AS FAR AS FINDING OUT THIS INFORMATION ???

Yes, the company TEC who makes the network professor does sell
an AM that allows their probe to be managed from DECmcc. Vitalink
is another company that has written a module for DECmcc (V1.1). The
trend has shifted to vendors building stand alone applications on
ULTRIX that are launched from DECmcc - but the building of modules
continues at a slow rate. What is the customer looking to manage?

I KNOW HE HAS SOME SYNOPTICS 10BASET CONCENTRATORS AND HE MENTIONED
SOME CISCO PRODUCTS AS WELL. I AM TRYING TO REACH HIM TO FIND OUT
EXPLICITLY WHAT HE IS INTERESTED IN.
