    Hi,

Can anybody help, I have a customer who is using COMPAC system pros as
OS2 file servers and wishes to use DECmcc to manage them.

    Question:

Do COMPAC supply an interface and if not do we know of any plans.

    Regards

I know absolutely nothing about Compaq file servers.

What *sort* of file serving APPLICATION are they running? Novell? LAN Manager?
Pathworks?

What sort of transport(s) are they using for the application? DECnet? TCP/IP?
XNS? morse code?

    Doug,

The customer is running a PATHWAORKS 4.0 network with Decnet as its
transport, the reason why they are using COMPAQ systems pros as OS2
file server is one of performance. A typical user code have upto 50
files open at any one time.

    Digital products include ALL-IN-1 2.4 , VTX, VAXnotes, DDS , X400
all there PC run in terminal emulation mode.
