I'm getting the following error on Ultrix, when I try to bring up
    	mcc:

MCC> Failure in kernel event receipt. Thread terminating
%MCC-E-EVT_POOL_INSRES, insufficient resources to create/access event

    	What does this mean?

Shared memory or semaphore parameters not set properly in kernel.
    See release notes.

No space in /tmp directory is another possibility.

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a MCC environment on a VMS system. During the
installation of the MCCELMAM I received the MCC-E-EVT_POOL_INSRES,
insufficient resources to create/access event pool error message.

I then tried to run the MCC_AUDIT.COM to see if it would figure out
what to fix. It seemed to find everything in order... I then checked
the release notes as directed in this note... My guess is that I didn't
have enough free gblpages (only 872...)? Shouldn't the audit procedure
    check this???

The logfile of what I did is appended...

What causes the warning messages about Duplicate Key: 2PAPA
 and
unable to find parent messages in the installation procedure?

    				Thanks,

    				rick
