| | With the DECbridge 90 firmware upgrade being done now, will the ELM AM be
| able to manage it and the DECrepeater 90T/C.
Right now, the MCC Bridge AM (T1.2.7) will not display very many of the
attributes that the DECbridge 90 supports. We don't list the DECbridge
90 in our list of supported devices because of this.
DECrepeaters are not manageable by DECmcc ELM as far as I know. Do
they even use the RBMS protocol?
| Will the ELM V1.2 SSB be able to manage it?
We are planning on doing some work to get a decent amount of support
for the DECbridge 90. Due to time contraints we may not be able to get
full support in for V1.2 SSB.

In a DEChub 90, the DECrepeaters are managed by a DECbridge 90 (via the
DEChub's management bus). The individual repeater ports are modelled as
Bridge Phy Ports. Thus, commands like:
ENABLE|DISABLE|SHOW BRIDGE fred PHY PORT portid|*
would be used manage a repeater port (if support were implemented in
the Bridge AM).
Based on schedule pressures, it is doubtful that the upcoming Bridge AM
release (running on DECmcc V1.2) will have DECrepeater support. In fact,
since DECbridge 90 implemented the Forwarding Database stuff in a way
different from existing bridges, support for the Forwarding Database may
not be present either...

P.S. Ed or Bob, feel free to correct
me RE: availability of full
DECbridge 90/DECrepeater 90
support in Bridge AM.
