2705.0. "EMS Kit (latest version)" by CAADC::GALVIN () Tue Apr 07 1992 11:58

    I have a customer that we are providing a prototype for using DECmcc.
    We would like to sell them EMS. The above note points to a directory
    for EMS version 2.1.
    Is this the latest version of DECmcc EMS? Is it ok for me to install
    this for the prototype? Initially, in testing we've installed BMS
    F1.2. Is there such a kit as MCCEMS012? I was unable to find it on
    the network and assumed that 2.1 was the right kit.

    thanks in advance

    PS. I'm quite new to MCC and can use all the *guidance* you can
    provide.  Mic POBOX::GALVIN.

2705.2What prototype?TOOK::R_SPENCENets don't fail me now...Tue Apr 07 1992 20:5711
    It isn't clear what you mean by supply a "prototype" and is it ok to
    install EMS on the prototype.

    EMS V2.1 is a released product. It can be sold to customers and can be
    ordered from the SSB. It requires a license to use. The internal DEC
    license is NOT ok to use at a customer site.

    Perhaps if you explained a bit more fully what you are trying to do we
    could help you better?
