2678.0. "mcc_msl and MSG_LOCATION" by MICROW::LANG () Thu Apr 02 1992 18:51

    I'm getting a very strange error, when I run the mcc_msl. When I
    set the MSG_LOCATION, no error message at all comes out, instead
    of interpretting the error number. (This just started happening.)

    Its like the input file, klkjkjkl which does not exist, is
    not begin read or interpreted. The same thing occurs with an
    existing msg file.

    This is an ultrix system.

Please find out if /usr/mcc/mcc_system contains the file "msg1263.plib"?

If so, what is the date?
2678.2info on the msg fileMICROW::LANGFri Apr 03 1992 20:1525

	Larry,

	I pointed the MSG_LOCATION to /usr/mcc/mcc_system, and
	in that directory there is the file "msg1263.plib". This
	was the file that contained the error file not found, which
	was one of the errors which I wasn't getting.

	The date is:
-rw-r--r--  1 root         4317 Dec 20 06:22 /usr/mcc/mcc_system/msg1263.plib

	I found out some more information. We have several systems
	with the kit installed, only one was a problem, the other
	2 were fine, and they have the same kit. The file "msg1263.plib".
	has the same date and size.

	We rebooted yesterday and this fixed the problem. I'm still
	wondering what caused the problem though.

	Let me know if you want more information.
