DECmcc Access Modules (AM) - Enhance Network Management Capability
CUSTOM DECmcc AMs are developed to meet specific customer
requirements beyond the standard product offering.

Details: o Access, Function, and Presentation Modules may be designed for:
	     - Customers with a large installed base of third party devices
they need to manage under one system. These devices may not
have a management system, and/or the vendor is not planning to
offer a DECmcc AM. EXAMPLE: printers, modems, switches.

	     - Customers with multiple network management systems
they want to combine under a single interface: DECmcc.
EXAMPLE: NET Network Control System, NT Telecom Control
System, Acudacs Network Control System all have
network management - but not one of them recognizes the
other devices - DECmcc Custom AMs provide the common
	       interface!

	     - Third Parties who have a strong Digital customer base
could use the DECmcc AM to enhance their sales strategy,
but may not desire to develop a module in-house.
	       EXAMPLE: modem, printer, switch vendors.

Benefits: o Multiple network management systems are managed via one
	     interface: DECmcc.
o Devices with no management system may be incorporated into DECmcc.
