2427.1Code mismatch...DFLAT::PLOUFFEJerryWed Feb 26 1992 13:5016
RE: .0

  This error indicates that there is a code mismatch for the SARE_AM child
  entity.

  Could you double check what ID code is being used for this child entity?
  Had it been changed recently? Is it possible that you had a parse table
  file that had a different code for this child entity?

  If you can't find anything, you'll have to post more info:

    o The DAP command file used
    o Listings on the state of the dictionary before and after updating it

                                                                     - Jerry

2427.3One possibility...DFLAT::PLOUFFEJerryWed Feb 26 1992 17:3910
Sylviane:

  Go into DAP, type DELETE CLASS MCC SUBCLASS SARE_AM and then EXIT. This
  will allow DAP to delete the correct portion of the parse tables (I hope).

  Then, go back into DAP and re-load the SARE_AM DAP command file.

  Let me know what happens...

    	Hello Jerry,

    	I have followed your instructions and everything is correct now.
    	Just one more little question : why the DELETE command of the DAP
    	is not documented ?

    	Thank's for your help.

    	Kind regards,
    	sylviane.
2427.5It will be documented in v1.2DFLAT::PLOUFFEJerryThu Feb 27 1992 13:1421
Sylviane:

  > why the DELETE command of the DAP is not documented ?

  The two old reasons were:

    o There were some errors in the implementation of the command, and

    o It was considered too "dangerous" to make public.

  We will document DELETE in the v1.2 final doc set (in fact it is already done)
  because:

    o The known errors in the DELETE command have been fixed (in the x1.2.16
      baselevel), and

    o We reconsidered our position on the second reason since so many people
      need to use the command and indeed already know about it and use it.

                                                                     - Jerry
