2426.0. "Iconic Map onto DECpc 433" by WOTVAX::PURNELLR ( Life, it's not what I thought it was !) Wed Feb 26 1992 11:25

    Has anyone succesfully produced the iconic map on a DECpc 433, with an
    apprpriately modified MCC_RESOURCE.DAT so all menus fit onto the
    window.

    I have managed with the main maps, but if a pull up a CUSTOMIZATION
    window for instance it simply fills the screen.

    If this can be acheived through modifying the MCC_RESOURCE.DAT can I
    have an example, this is to support a customer site.

    DECpc 433... hmmm, how about DECpc 433 Workstation (it comes with 20
    inches color monitor? It will solve your problem. ;)

    Seriously, in the mcc_resource.dat file, you can change the size of
    the management window (em_width & em_height) and map window (map_width
    & map_height), but not the menus.

    However, I think all the menus (in V1.1 at least) will fit in a typical
    14 inches PC monitor vertically. On some menus, it will take up more
    than one screen horizontally (for example, customize as you pointed
    out); in that case, you just drag the window border to go left or right
    to see the rest of the form.

2426.2In V1.2 this should workTOOK::R_SPENCENets don't fail me now...Tue Mar 10 1992 12:398
    I V1.1 there are a few menues that will not fit on a small screen.
    The problem you see is that the CLOSE button is off the bottom on
    some.

    For V1.2 all the windows were audited for small screens and changes
    as needed were incorporated.
