2071.0. "Unknown Entity for line counter partition" by RACER::dave (Attending The School of Comparative Irrevelevance) Fri Jan 10 1992 12:47

When running MCC on my DS5000/200, I get the following errors
for the line or circuit counter partitions. There are no errors for the
partitions in the entity (a NODE4), itself.

2071.1it does not support line/circ counterTOOK::JEAN_LEEMon Jan 13 1992 11:3214

    Dave,

    	We tried to reproduce this problem and found that system theat1 does
    not support line and circuit counters. We tried NCP and ncp also returns
    similar message. Either MCC or NCP only reports what entities return. At
    this point, I don't know why theat1 does not support line/circuit
    counters. One possibility might be that DECnet was not installed
    properly. It's worth to re-install it.

    	Let me know how it goes.

    	Jean
