1976.0. "SQL excessive table width error" by RDGENG::PRATT () Fri Dec 20 1991 15:45

Having read the release notes I see that you cannot export node ddcmp link to
SQL, but I've also tried node ddcmp logical station, and routing circuit
csmacd-0 with the same error.

My questions are

1) Can I export anything from a phaseV entity with the current Ultrix (T.1.2.3)
kit?

2) When will these restrictions be removed?

   You mean T1.2.13 kit, don't you?

   On Ultrix Exporter FM creates tables on per entity per partition basis.
   It means that every entity has has as many tables as partitions.
   As it states in the release notes the table those length greater than
   (2008 - N) bytes ( where N is a number of columns) can not be created.
   It means, for example, that for Node DDCMP Link entity the References
   partition can not be exported. All others partitions and corresponding
   tables are not affected.

>2) When will these restrictions be removed?

    The restriction on the table length exists in the Ultrix SQL.

    During FT we are planning to abbreviate the tables whose length is exceeded
    the Ultrix SQL limit using the following algorithm:
	- In the table creation time Exporter will verify the length
	  of table when a new column is added;
	- If a column is out of limit it will not be added to the table.

No, T1.2.3 is correct for IFT (= X1.2.12 for NME developers)
    T1.2.4 is EFT. (= X1.2.13 for NME developers)
