1955.0. "Alarm rule disabled wit message number FFFF803A" by KETJE::VDKERCKHOVE (Never say NEVER) Tue Dec 17 1991 06:35

The alarms rules i create in the Iconic map pm get disabled after the first
evaluation with %NONAME-E-NOMSG, Message number FFFF803A.

Does anyone know what Message number FFFF803A means ?

1955.1Batch queue doesn't exist !KETJE::VDKERCKHOVENever say NEVERTue Dec 17 1991 07:316
Found it myself, in Iconic map I didn't specify a batch queue and sys$batch
doesn't exist on my vaxstation.

A clearer status message would have been appreciated !

1955.2Thanks, it's already fixed in the next releaseTOOK::ORENSTEINFri Jan 03 1992 13:3316

    Yes, we introduced a bug, but we--it fixed if for the next release.

    $ exit %x4803a
    %JBC-E-NOSUCHQUE, no such queue

    We accidently clobbered the high bytes of the error code and then
    could not translate the message.

    If you see NONAME FFFF80xx then try added a 4 before the 8 and
    seeing if the message makes any sense. Sorry for the crude debugging
    hints on this one.
