1881.0. "IMPM T1.2.3 Problems" by VINO::LUNDGREN (John - NAS System Mgmt - 297-5537) Thu Dec 05 1991 14:41

After installing both the T1.2.3 BMS and TK successfully,
I attempted to invoke the IMPM. I get the following messages:

(In DECterm window)

No input bitmaps found for COLLECTOR
No input bitmaps found for CONCENTRATOR

(In DECwindows popups)

o Map Window Message: software error; application ID not
      found in Window Table property

o DECmcc Message: Window Table property corrupted. Please exit
      DECmcc and try again.

I have tried again and get the same results.

Is this VMS or ULTRIX? Have you ever installed a previous
version of the V1.2 field test on the same system?

This is VMS V5.5. I have never installed a previous version of V1.2.
However I did have the SSB of V1.1 BMS and TK installed previously.

Erik,

My problem seems to be with the SYS$LOGIN:MCC_RESOURCE.DAT file
that I had with the SSB of V1.1. I will send you this file via mail.

    John,

The problem is caused by having the alarm color entries with no color
associated with them. Did you edit your mcc_resource.dat to take
out the alarm colors? Each alarms should have a color specified.

David,

Whatever was in my resource file was put there by DECmcc V1.1.
I have never edited this file directly.
