1557.0. "problem with grey scale" by VAOU02::LAM () Thu Sep 26 1991 17:18
my customer is running decmcc-director 1.1 on vax3100/76 and displayed on a
ds5000/200 grey scale (ultrix 4.2 using Xws)
on the domain/map main window and the toolbox window, the background
and foreground are both black
we tried it on a color ds5000, the background is white
we tried it on a sparcstation grey scale, the background is white
we tried all the different X resources, nothing works
we tried it on a grey scale ds5000, it is fine, the background is white
is this a problem with Xws under 4.2 or something wrong with demcc,
since it only affects 2 windows, and most other applications work fine
thanks for any help

| There may be a delay in responses to map oriented comments. After
almost 4 years in the organization Fred Messinger has moved on
(within Digital). So, for the next few weeks other team members will
continue ramping up on the work that Fred has left behind. Please have
patience as we undertake this endeavor. We wish Fred well in his
new undertaking and hope to have someone up to speed on the map in
as quick a time as possible.

Look at reply 1554.3.
If that doesn't solve the problem, please post the .Xdefaults files on
the servers (the ones that work and the one that doesn't work) and the
mcc_resource.dat on vax3100/76. You may mail them to me
(TOOK::D_WONG).
