Just a short question:
Has somebody written some other Report Files to produce some more graphics or
textreports? If yes, it is possible to post it here?

P.S. Maybe a question to John Egolf, will there be an other reporting in V1.2,
more different reports or an other way to produce them or online live

We are not aware of Report files written by other people. There have been inquiries about Bridge reports in this conference. DECmcc V1.2 will provide TCPIP reports. | |||||

Hi, We are also trying to find solutions for easier reporting for some customer cases. We have a couple of installations at some important customer sites with large networks. What they naturally require is customized reports, which is not very easy to implement without enough experience with DTR. In some cases they can create very impressive reports with some standalone tools they have. For success with mcc, I believe we have to be able to create real impressive reports with graphics. We tried a couple of different approaches as well. One case we tried to use DECdecision and in another we tried to load the data to a lotus spreadsheet and created the reports there. These methods all work, but what customers are asking is more flexable tools for creating better reports. Your feedback on solutions for this will be very much appreciated. Regards, Tankut | |||||
