WHY DECmcc DOESN'T PERMIT TO PRINT MAPS???
DID YOU PLAN TO OFFER THAT FEATURE IN FUTURE RELEASE?
WE DO HOPE YES (WE = CUSTOMERS + ME)!!

Those are questions for the Engineers:

WHY DECmcc DOESN'T PERMIT TO PRINT MAPS???
>	WE SIMPLY HAVE TOO MUCH WORK TO DO AND THERE ARE HIGHER
PRIORITY THINGS WE MUST DO FIRST. YOU CAN USE THE DECWINDOWS
SCREEN CAPTURE/PRINT TO GET (AT LEAST) A SCREEN'S WORTH OF
	PRINTING.

DID YOU PLAN TO OFFER THAT FEATURE IN FUTURE RELEASE?
>	YES, BUT DON'T EXPECT IT IN V1.2.

WE DO HOPE YES (WE = CUSTOMERS + ME)!!

>	keep your comments and interests coming, NME *really* does
listen you you, the users, field reps, and the customers. We
have a significantly higher request queue than we possible can
service. Some things, however obvious, just won't get done as
soon as some would like. It doesn't mean we aren't listening
	or planning to do them.

1192.3MAP prints are pretty -- but they sell servicesCLARID::PATELWe'll get it right on the nightFri Jun 28 1991 13:1313
It's amazing how requirements like printable maps, map transport using
HPGL etc get such low priorities.

I know of several large sites where we lost out because we could no
provide quality prints of maps and graphs. After all what sells is the
results of network management services presented in MIS (management
consumable :-)) format, that means pretty maps and graphs.

Also, many customers have cad/cam (HPGL) files representing their
networks, we could save big "$" in service delivery costs by utilizing
    them.
