1116.0. "Show recording" by CLAUDI::PETERS () Fri Jun 07 1991 18:41

Recording was started for Partition * (on a line child entity of a
node4) from the map window. When a show recording for partition *
operation is selected, the window diligently clears the screen and
displays the recording for each partition. It does these fairly
quickly (read that too fast to view, except for the partition name).
The only one you really get to look at is the last partition.
You can't scroll up the display. Why is that behavior useful?
I know what you'll say ... look at each partition seperately
(unaccepatable answer). Please try it yourself, see if you
agree that a scrolloing region is needed for this display.

Claudia,

This behaviour is release noted. The user is advised not to currently
show recording for partition *, because at this point, we cannot differentiate
whether MORE is due to time or to data. We know it is not acceptable and
are waiting for the additional kernel routine to be provided, at which point
we can scroll the MORE data behind the current data and add scrollbars if
necessary.
