1058.0. "TSAM/Iconic Map problem" by SNOC02::MISNETWORK (Take a byte) Tue May 28 1991 02:36

    I have a problem registering Terminal Servers via the ICONIC map. The
    problems started happening after I installed the SNMP module but I don't
    know if this is connected because I followed the release notes as
    mentioned in 755.* and other notes.

    When I go to add a new terminal server to a map after registering it, the
    following error occurs -

    %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask =01, virtual address=
    09CFDE00, PC=00AA7AE5, PSL=03C00000
    %MCC-F-FATAL_FW, fatal framework condition: Failed to dequeue next
    ready threshold.

    If I quit out and go back to the map, and try to register the server,
    it adds it to the map without error. Any ideas. Previously I have no
    problems registering over 30 terminal servers via the ICONIC map. I am
    using BMS 1.1 SSB.

    Cheers,
    Louis

    Anybody out there seen this problem. Its embarassing when a customer
    asks you to demonstrate the registration of terminal servers via the
    Iconic PM.

1058.2probably not TSAM...TOOK::L_CARDANITue Jul 02 1991 14:096

    It does not look like a problem with TSAM since you say it did work
    before SNMP installation. Any suggestions from Iconic Map or SNMP
    people?
