922.0. "PROBLEM: MCC-F-PARTABID---- after installing TSAM" by GOYA::GONZALEZ (Beware of the baobabs !!) Wed Apr 17 1991 07:39

Hi,

After installing the TSAM010 I am getting this error in my previous BMS 1.1
installation (worked fine earlier):

$ manage/enter/i=d
%MCC-F-PARTABIDMAJMIS, parse table file ID major version mismatch
%MCC-I-PARTABIDREAD, parse table file ID version read 0.0
%MCC-I-PARTABIDEXP, parse table file ID version expected 2.2

Software error: Unable to read in parse table.
%MCC-F-PM_READPARERR, Software error: Unable to read in parse table.

Any idea?

   Luis -

Did you rebuild the dictionary and parse tables during the TSAM
   installation? Were there any errors?

Which BMS 1.1 kit are you running on top of (is it the SSB version)?

You may want to delete the files MCC_COMMON:*PARSE*.*;* and attempt
to rebuild your parse tables by issuing the command:

	$MANAG/TOOL/PARSE

If you are getting a parse table mismatch you have a problem!!!

Check the size and date on the tables. My guess is you had the install
try to rebuild the tables and the rebuild failed. Building the tables
takes a lot of memory, make sure your quotas are set right.

    Thanks a lot

After reinstalling everything was OK. I guess the instalation procedure
(takes quite a lot so it run over the night) was not successful the
    first time

    Cheers
