46.1 | I had no problems in the IFT installation. | BYBLOS::TAMER | Tue Jan 30 1990 15:53 | 6
re .0 I am also a user of the MCC IFT kit. The system manager of my group installed it last week. I have been using it since with no problems. Phil

If I am right you should find this problem listed in the release notes. We have found that with the IFT kit some times this happens. Usually the kit has installed fine (the mcc$ files should be in the sysexe and syslib directories), all you need to do now is to run the mcc$startup procedure yourself and you should be off and running. BTW: did you install across the net or copy the savesets locally? We know what is happening to cause this just not why.
46.3 | It works | CCIIS1::ROGGEBAND | Wed Jan 31 1990 14:39 | 16
Hi, I had a look at the release notes but did not find anything (I probably looked in the wrong place ! :-) Despite the message, the installation does indeed seem to have succeeded. It was a local installation. I don't know if anyone has reported this, but if I type a <space><return> sequence at the MCC Prompt, MCC exits with : %MCC-E_INV_ENTITY, Invalid entity structure. Cordialement, Philippe.
