Hello, please, could somebody tell me if the next configuration is supported under Alpha OpenVMS 6.2 or if exists some restriction or potential problems: 1. Different HSOF version on two different HSJ42 (one pair of HSJ in HSJ42 has the same version, of course). All HSJ are connected to one starcoupler. 2. OpenVMS volume shadowing between HSJ42 with different HSOF version. Our customer needs to use on some HSJ42 HSOF 3.1 and on the other HSOF 2.7. Thanks in advance, Karel

568.1 | Matching geometry on VMS? | VMSSPT::DIFABIO | MOVL #OPINION,EXE$GL_BLAKHOLE | Tue May 06 1997 22:19 | 5 |
Provided the 'units' have the same geometry (cylinder, track, sector) and maximum # of blocks then shadowing the unit's will work. Again, the key is matching geometry. Mark d. | |||||
