2161.0. "DECnet or TCP/IP protocol" by ZUR01::teamc1.zuo.dec.com::RIGI::BURKHALTER () Mon Mar 10 1997 13:38

Hi

Customer is running TCP/IP and DECnet (PATHWORKS V6) on a Windows
3.11 PC.

He has installed the LNX client specifying DECnet as the protocol to
be used, but the client connects with TCP/IP.

Is there a way to specify the protocol that LinkWorks uses to connect
to the server?

Thanks and regards

Rolf

Is this question so difficult to answer?

I really don't like to transfer a call with such a n easy question to
UTO.

Thanks again for any help

No,

There is no way of forcing LNX to use DECnet.
PathWorks just redirects the connection using IP.

Sorry.
