    On a "new Style" VP120 my customer has a problem when using portables
    add-ons free Spirit modem. When using applications that require the
    modem the system Hangs. When using the same modem in the older style
    VP120 with the same set-up, the laptop works fine. The main difference
    is the BIOS, which is now Phoenix V4.0.
    
    Any help would be appreciated....
