I have a problem with several Ultra II's with multi media units, all are
having problems when dock/undocking. Bios is 2.09 or 2.10.
Under windows95 I stop the cards or use the ejectPC, then remove the MMM. This
stage works most of the time but when I try to reinstall the MMM, the system
sometimes hangs.
After powering the system off, waiting 15 seconds and then powering on I
either get a blank sceen or a fatal rom error. After several power cycles the
system comes back to life.
I have also had the rom error without doing a dock, ie. cold power on with the
MMM attached. Note that every time I have had a hang the MMM was either being
attached or was attached.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
