1328.4 | ISDN external terminal adapter and Laptop | NQOS01::16.72.128.105::LOVE | Are we having fun yet? | Tue Mar 18 1997 14:14 | 10 |
It is now two years later and I have an external Motorola BitSurfer Pro ISDN terminal adapter which I connected to my com port on my HiNote CT475 laptop. Everything works fine until I attempt to use Windows 95 dial up stuff. It keeps giving me a no response from modem message. I have used the digital modem with the terminal emulator that comes with the BitSurfer and with KEA, so I know communications ocurr between some applications and the modem. Has anyone had success using an external ISDN terminal adapter and Windows 95 on a laptop? Norm
1328.5 | Pointer for ISDN patch | NEMAIL::BARNES | Tue Mar 18 1997 17:08 | 8
I don't have the same config but may be able to provide a pointer. I have a Xircom combo card and while trying to set up AV Tunnel ran into problems. Checked the FAQ and they provided a pointer to M-S (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/getisdn/dload.html) and their ISDN Accelerator Pack (V1.1). You might want to ake a look there. Ham |
