4129.0. "DUPLEX Printing................." by KERNEL::SIMPSONR (fred) Tue May 03 1994 18:46

I have a customer with V3.0 of ALL-IN-1, who is printing double sided documents
by printing duplex. They often need 10 or so copies, so they set copies to 10
when printing. If the document has an odd number of pages, then the start of the
next copy is on the back of the preceeding page.

They can after all put a new page marker in the document to account for this,
but is there anything that can be done automatically.

 Regards,
 Richard Simpson.

1. What type of document is being printed?

2. What Print Style is being used.

3. What Print Settings did you use.

I tried with the following:

    .	a WPS-PLUS document

.	printing to a DEClaser 2250 using DECPrint Supervisor V1.0B

.	with DECLASER and PS Print Styles

    .	and Copies = 2 and Sides = TWO

and in both cases the first page of the second copy was printed on the front of
a new sheet of paper.

 Thanks for the reply Richard,

I resolved the problem, by suggesting to the customer that they used GOLD E
and set SIDES = 2, rather than setting their print queue up to force DUPLEX
 printing........

 Thank you again,
 Richard.
