Hi all!
Following problem:
Customer of mine prints to a CANON or IBM printer (I could provide the .PRA files
but problem is also reproducable with our LA75.PRA)
Customer prints a document containing a left-right justified ruler margin
f.i. L----------------------------T---------------------------T-------------B
where B means in german BLOCKSATZ.
The document is sent to the formatter, then you have to look at the OPERATOR.LOG
file, for the JOBcontroller access violates, it gives you :

If you remove the left-right justified margin and replace it with a right side
margin everything works fine!!

What version of ALL-IN-1 and of WPS-PLUS do you have installed ?
Have you got WordPerfect Installed on your system ? I say this because
the type of error messages you are getting point to it being installed.
Have you got the logical SMBSRVSHR defined on your system and where is it
pointing to ?

Your original report referred to WPS-PLUS rulers so I'm assuming that you are formatting a WPS-PLUS document with the WPS-PLUS formatter. As changing the WPS-PLUS ruler makes the problem go away it looks like the WPS-PLUS formatter is failing, causing OA$FORMATTER to fail, which causes the Job Controller to ACCVIO. What happens if you format the same document in the foreground? Richard | |||||

Hello Richard! The problem stays the same, when he tries without Backgroundformatting. But I can tell you, that when he replaces the B with an R, everything works fine. You can easily reproduce with our LA75 printertable. I had a look at the english WPS+ manual and the german meaning of B is for you a J, for "Define a right-justified margin.Line endings of text are even."
