1496.0. "Some pixmap and LSE questions" by NWGEDU::DINGEMANS (Hans Dingemans, E.S. Holland) Thu Sep 28 1989 06:53

A few questions with probably short answers(?).

- What's the reason for getting an Alloc-error when creating a pixmap?
Is there an overall limit to the size (say 2048)? Where is the pixmap
stored at the server side: is it VAX memory or is it "screen memory"
which happens to be beside the video screen?

- What is the max. size of a userdefined cursor (the size of the shape and mask
  bitmaps)?

- Is there an LSE package available for X, Xt, and Dwt-routines? If so, for
what languages? If not, any plans?

Thanks for any help,
Hans.

That means there's one question left.

Any new info yet?
