    A customer is interested in converting their VWS system to DECwindows.
    The majority of their system consists of multiple terminal windows
    on the screen.  They have some questions on the terminal emulation
    for DECwindows.  Their questions regard are:
    
    	Will cut & paste be supported between the terminal windows?
    Will there be a way to intercept the buffer after the cut is performed
    before they do the paste (They currently wrote some kernel code
    to read the buffer after it was cut), but they really need a type
    of notification when the cut is performed to perform security checking
    on the data (for different security classifications of the data).
    
    	Is there a label that can be associated with the window like
    the banner label on UIS windows?
    
    Sorry about the simple questions, but I am a delivery resident in
    the field and am still trying to get the documentation  (no ln03
    printer, no DECwindow system).

It is possible to write an application to read the PASTE buffer and validate
it.

There is already a very simple unsupported application which can set the
names of various terminal windows at run time.  You can also write an
application which creates a terminal window and initializes the name
if you do not need dynamic naming.  (this would be like the unsupported
CHILD program described somewhere else).

the window name does indeed go in the banner like in VWS.
