Hello, I just went into the QAR system on TRIFID (QAR_INTERNAL) to QAR the problem in #3614 and I have a question as to which database I should use?? The problem is readily reproducable under SBB 5.4 DECWINDOWS but the only database available was DECWINDOWS-IFT is this the database I should use??? Note #2 indicated that there should be a regular DECWINDOWS database but this didn't seem to be available. Which one should I use?? Peter

use the decwindows-ift database for pre v3 stuff, use decw-v3-internal for v3. | |||||

QAR SYSTEM
A QAR system has been set up on TRIFID to allow you to report
problems you have with VMS DECwindows. Please be sure
to enter VMS-specific DECwindows QARs in the internal database
on TRIFID.
We have a new QAR database for DECwindows V3. Please start
using the DECW-V3-INTERNAL database. The DECWINDOWS-IFT
database should only be used for V1 and V2 problems.
For internal access to the DECW-V3-INTERNAL database you may
use the QAR account:
Name: QAR_INTERNAL
Password: QAR
When you enter a QAR, please be sure to explicitly state
the name of the field test (or intermediate baselevel) you
are running, the release of the VMS operating system you
are running it on, and the type of workstation you are using
(e.g., VAXstation 2000/GPX).
