Why? This has nothing to do with Motif. I have tried with the dxwm
window manager and with no .Xdefaults file, and the same keeps
happening.
The DECwindows server prints the following message in /usr/adm/X0msgs
during a crash:
Fatal server bug!
Freeing resource id=3801BC which isn't there
start Tue Oct 10 09:01:54 1989
Device->qv
Created Tcp socket: 4, WKCmask= 10
Created unix socket: 5, WKCmask= 30
Created decnet socket: 6, WKCmask= 70
Connection Prefix: len == 36
Now I call scheduler/dispatcher
And the following can be found in the core file (among other things):
screen %d failed initialization
server restarted. Jumped through uninitialized pointer?

The corefile can be found at oslnix::/core.dump (the original name was
core, I renamed it)
I would appreciate it if someone has an idea as to what this can be.
