A customer asks: We are currently licensed for VTX on our openvms cluster. However we have another cluster that is running vtx-tcp whixh has a license loaded on the machine with a release date of MAY 3,1991. This "other" cluster will be upgrading soon to openvms v7.1, and one of the requirements of openvms v7.1 is that licenses with a release dates older than 1996 will no longer be valid. I seem to recall that a remote cluster using vtx-tcp doesn't need to have a license as long as the server has a valid vtx license. Is this true? If not, what is the license product number that I need to get. Any help on this would be appreciated... Thanks, Felix
