There is a very crude chant to this song, one which I learned six years
ago in college. I'm certainly not entering it here because it is rude
and offensive and immature.

I won't enter the real chant here. However when I was in
school, people suddenly became aware of aids and the chant
changed for a bit. The chant changed to : "get laid get aids".
The last word was quite rude in the original. However, I
like the more updated chant. We used to chant it at frat
parties. Didn't have any problems with unwanted advances
after that! I'd suggest chanting that loudly at the bar and
see what people say. (just for giggles)

| Geeze, I never tried to figure it out, I just kept dancing. I guess

| Tommy James and the Shondells never sang them in their original version of
their 1960's hit song "Mony, Mony."
But that didn't stop Mastricola Middle School students from including
suggestive lyrics in their rendition, which has some parents wincing
when the song is played at school dances.
According to Chris Broyer, a parent, the students sing the original
"You make me feel mony mony." Then they add their own lyrics: "You
make me feel (expletive) horny."
She told the School Board she attended on middle school dance last spring
when the students added the refrain and another ad-libbed line.
"I personally stormed the staged at one dance and demanded the song
be stopped," she said.
Then she discovered the song was played again at parent and teachers
group dance she was unable to attend.
"This behavior is unacceptable and cannot be ignored from our children,"
she told the board.
School Board Chairman William Cote thanked Broyer for her statement and added
that his daughter had been at the dance also.
