    This topic is for general discussions of issues raised in the previous
    topic.  Although it is for general discussion, I think it would be
    useful if authors here keep in mind that authors in the previous topic
    are on their honor to be honest and straightforward -- and hence making
    recriminations here would probably not be supportive of the purpose of
    the previous topic.
