I'll start - Joe Cocker's new album - "One Night of Sin"

(but I've got ten bucks put away to buy it on the 26'th,
    just in case :=) )

6'2", 180#, expressive eyes, strong arms, soft lips....

Well, you get the picture! ;-)

Seriously? (What do you mean, I WAS being serious!)

There are a lot of things I would really like that I just
don't have the money to buy right now.

a bra for my car (since it just got repainted)
an answering machine (since my other one broke)
a new stereo (since the last one is near death)
a dresser to match my waterbed (all I've got
		          now is the underdresser)
some nice sexy lingerie (one can never get enough)
to make the last 22# disappear without effort

	 :-)

Actually, I'm getting what I want for Christmas...

I'm going to give Santa a bit more leeway on the physical:

5'7"-6'2", nice build, under 210, soft eyes, nice tail, great legs,
athletic. Add friendly, unconscious charm, sensitivity and
intelligence. Maybe even the life of the party. Throw in awareness and
respect for women's issues and black issues or we get nowhere fast. And
a healthy tolerance for Eastern religion.

(Bonnie, Nancy, I have TRIED to make this generic. You forward this and
    you will DIE on Tuesday.)

While we're at it, how about $10,000 in small bills.

For some reason, I got the mental image of an ostrich. Musta been the
tail part that threw me. :-) :-)

me a peacock. I'm sure the cats would love him.

My wish list for Christmas and 1990:

    	- a job offer in the Seattle area
    	- a continued wonderful relationship with my partner
    	- no car problems ever again
    	- an easel
    	- new watercolors
    	- about 10 new paintbrushes
    	- sudden explosive talent to paint like George O'Keeffe
    	- a marble table

How about getting something from Reader's Digest saying that I actually
won something for all of the stupid rounds in which I put stickers on
the right box, and used the supplied coins to rub off the right spaces?
I think labor costs alone would dictate that I should get at least
    $500. Never again!

The rest of the things I want I'll never get. :-)

    REALLY want!

(I'm going on a cruise in January and the trip is paid for but so far I
only have $50 in spending money and that won't even cover tips!)

A warm holiday with my family where I hopefully don't get into
too many political arguments with my Mom and the backyard-
fresh oranges and grapefruit are sweet.

An Orlando Magic basketball game with my Dad.

	A spectacular shuttle launch

A traditional day trip to Disney World with some friends from high
	school

My supervisor already gave me what I requested for Christmas after
dropping a few not-so-subtle hints [writing a few lines of
a Christmas carol next to the training class I've been wanting
and leaving that on an office chair :-]

And if my CCmgr wanted to buy us a new HP oscilloscope, I wouldn't
	stop him.

    airline tix to Seattle,

Dear Santa,

I know I am not going to get a lot of gifts this year, that's okay, I don't
mind, but I have a few requests of a more abstract manner...

I want my Mom to support and respect again...

I want sudden knowledge of what I want to do with my life without having to
guess and make mistakes all the way...

I want to have people around me who like me and care for me all the time
instead of virtual strangers who don't know me at all and get angry all the
time....

I want people to stop being closed-minded and start being nonjudgemental and
supportive and friendly and non-prejudiced...

Thanks. Oh yeah, peace on earth, as usual.

D!

PS: If you can't handle the above, I'd settle for a cherry red 944 with turbo.

    Santa -

Is there any way you could arrange to put Christmas off for a week
this year? Barring that, could I rewind to last Friday and redo
    the whole weekend?

Could you at least explain why personal catastrophes always happen
    at the least convenient moment?

When is there *ever* a "convenient" moment for a personal catastrophe?!

Like I say, based on several concurrent recent personal catastrophes,
"if it's not one problem, it's *more* than one problem".

I love it (I cracked up when Ellen told me that one in the hall).

I would like an acceptance to an appropriate university program in the
Boston/Nashua area, and GEEP.

Well... I had two things on my Christmas wish list....

One being a portable CD player, and the other a nice fluffy
Terry-cloth robe... I *really* figured the night of the 26th,
I would be out buying a portable CD player AND a robe...

Well.. last night I unwrapped the most beautiful feminine pink and
white fluffy Terry Cloth robe... Amy Goldman knows how to shop -
if you have any last minute shopping to do, I'd certainly ask her to
    help ya out :-)...

HOWEVER... the best gift was the gift that went with it... if you
remember from a note a put in a topic not long ago, I um... broke
part of a plane during a landing... well.. she got me a poster
with a pilot digging a plane into the ground during a landing, with a
caption of "You think being a PILOT is easy?" I'm STILL laughing...

    Merry Christmas to all....
