Well, here's a complaint about setting it hidden. :-(

I particularly enjoy reading Mr Manners mindless drivel.

So, do the complaints cancel ??? :-)

This is to the moderators of this and other files, Please answer
this question without the normal bullshit we (noters) hear from
    standard excues,

Question-> Due to the resent basenotes hidden by a moderator in
this file, the following question I would like answered. If
    1 (one,uno, whatever) person (read:human) complains about a base
note will it be set hidden? And what grounds does the moderators
    base their reasons?

                        REK

In general, yes, a single objection is sufficient.

This presumes that the objection appears to be neither frivolous nor
mistaken. Whether or not any particular objection passes that test
depends entirely on the judgement of the moderator.

A clear violation of corporate policy requires no objection from
    the community.

Personal insults, not attributable to "the heat of the moment" are
the usual reason for something to be hidden...and in fact that is
why the two basenotes you mention are no longer visible.

    Does this information help?

    >In general, yes, a single objection is sufficient.<

Does this mean if I find something I object to you *will* set it
    hidden?

The other parts are a little shady but understandable. The part
about personal attacks should not be allowed! I feel a person
can disagree and debate their point but not bring in personal
stuff. Remember what a famous person once said (me).

There is no such thing as a wrong opinion. If you believe its true
    then that is your opinion.

                       REK

BTW I hope the moderators didn't take this personal, I meant this
as a part of the forum. But remember by setting the note hidden
we readers have to ponder what the note stated and draw our own
concluesions. Even if we know the writer...........

No, what I was actually trying to get at, Rick, is that it isn't
necessary to have more than one person object to something. If
the note/response seems like it should be hidden, one objection
    will do it.

To keep notes like .0 from being even more irritating posthumously than
in life, I'm setting this string /nowrite.
